Your knee likes to bend and straighten A LOT throughout the day - think about how your knee hinges every time you get up/sit down on a chair, going up and down the stairs, squatting, etc. But it’s actually the rotation motions of the knee that allow it to function more fluidly, and that’s the function of your meniscus. They act as shock absorbers to prevent bone on bone friction when you bend/straighten, but especially function when turning the knee in/out when changing directions. This yoga flow teaches you how to lubricate the meniscus and the knee as well as create more stability when loading thru the leg.
