Yoga For Balance teaches you a series of poses to challenge stability throughout your body one leg at a time. The foundation for good balance is hip stability, planting your feet into the ground using the 3 point triangle we discussed in “Yoga For Strong Feet”. Use external support as necessary in the form of a chair, wall or bed to decrease risk of injury, as well as placing your foot back down on the ground, then bringing it back up again. Balance isn’t achieved in one session, it’s something that needs to be practiced repetitively.
